"No one ever wants to experience a death in their family. Let alone being an only child who has never undertook the task of taking care of final arrangements for a parent. To say I was clueless, numb to shock, and a walking zombie when I arrived last week to take care of my Dad's final plans would be an understatement. The staff at Goldens helped me navigate all the things I needed to do, answered questions on the phone, and held me hand along the way. I know it's a business and I know they have things to sell. I didn't feel judged when I told them I didn't have a lot of money and couldn't afford a big urn. All I felt was compassion and empathy for what was going on. They were professional and ethical through and through. I really can't express my gratitude and appreciation enough for this place.
