Patsy "Pat" L. Jones

July 14, 1945 - October 30, 2019

Patsy Patsy Lou Jones was born July 14, 1945 to Chris and Henrieta Stark in Omaha, NE. She was the youngest of four children and graduated from Benson High School in Omaha. She met her husband, Robert “Bob” Jones, at Tiner’s Drive-In in Omaha and they bowled in the same league. Bob and Pat became husband and wife in 1964 and moved to Oregon a couple years later. They enjoyed traveling together, attending car shows, and spending time with family and friends.

Prior to retirement, Pat worked many years as a medical receptionist in Salem for Dr. Rodney Janssen and Dr. Steven Campbell.

On Wednesday, October 30, 2019, Pat passed away at the Salem Hospital surrounded by her family after a long battle with cancer. She was 74 years old.

Pat will be remembered for her kindness, strong faith, love for her family, positive attitude, and bravery as she battled cancer.

Left to honor Pat and remember her love are her husband of 55 years, Bob of Keizer; daughters and sons-in-law, Holly and Kevin True of Villisca, IA and Heather and Chris Estridge of Anchorage, AK; siblings, Mary Ann Fedde of Gretna, NE, Gerald Stark of Omaha, NE, and Geraldine Bergmann of Silverton, OR; six grandchildren, Tyler, Natalie and Garett True, and Katie, Cooper, and Sidney Estridge.

Her memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, November 7, 2019 at First Baptist Church in Salem (395 Marion St. NE). A burial will be at the Auburn Cemetery in Nebraska at a later date. For those who wish, contributions may be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation
