Nancy DeLemus

February 15, 1958 - May 25, 2020


     Nancy was born in Torrence, California to Bert and Mary DeLemus, Nancy was the youngest of 3 girls. Nancy attended North Torrence High school and graduated with honors.  After high school she attended UC Davis where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science, after graduation she worked at UC Davis in animal care. Nancy than moved to Oregon where she worked at the Woodburn Veterinary Clinic, where she worked with many wonderful Doctors and made life long friends. For the past 5 years Nancy had been working at the Animal Care Center in South Salem, with Dr. Swartz and staff. 
        Nancy loved gardening and cooking, she was a great cook and loved putting on parties for her good friends, especially the Miller’s. Nancy loved to read books, and had a desire for knowledge. She will be remembered for her kindness and her huge heart for all animals, especially rescue animals. Nancy leaves behind a beloved sister, Helena and a nephew Nick Celis both of Keizer and her beloved Aunt Louise and all her wonderful cousins. She also leaves behind many wonderful friends, Sona, Cindy, Kathy, Evie, Bill and Almie, and Lorna just to name a few. 
     Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Bert and Mary DeLemus, her oldest sister Ceci Celis and her brother in law Ralph Celis. 
     We would like to thank Virgil Golden funeral services and Oakleaf Crematory for their excellent service and kindness.  
      Nancy died suddenly on May 25, 2020, she is now in the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, she is more alive than ever now! See you on the other side little sister.
