Janet Cooper was born to Chris and Lucille Swoverland on March 26, 1938 in Ladysmith Wisconsin.
She is survived by 2 brothers Keith Swoverland (Rene), Terry Swoverland (Sandi) and 1 sister Judy Strausbaugh (Dick). She is also survived by her 3 children Brenda Wagner (Eric) Brian Fitch and Belinda Miller (Kim) and 5 grandchildren, Christopher Fast, Fawn Fast, Daniele Goodlett, Brandi Fitch, and Bethany Fitch.
She raised her family in Salem, Oregon and enjoyed life in many ways: getting her pilot's license and flying, skydiving, driving a school bus for many years, fishing, bowling, a huge fan of sci-fi, working out at The 50+, and tending her roses.
She passed away on April 7, 2019 at the age of 81. She was in peace with her family by her side.
She will be missed dearly…
A celebration of life will be held from 1-3pm Saturday May 4th 2019 at the 50+ Center 2615 Portland RD NE Salem OR 97301.
