William (Will) Lee Esther
October 28, 1961-June 9, 2018
Will was born at the 78th Hospital, Hamilton Air Force Base, Novato, California October 28, 1961, and died from complications of Amyatonia Dystrophy on June 9, 2018 in Salem, Oregon.  He graduated from Yamhill  Highschool in  Yamhill, Oregon.  Soon after he graduated High School he joined the U.S. Navy, and  was honorably discharged after two months, due to Amyatonia, Dystrophy. After the Navy he went to work for Oregon Cherry Growers, in Salem, Oregon, for ten years, where he retired with a disability.   Will, was a caring son, good cook and faithful husband, a hard worker, who loved fishing with his father-in-law. He enjoyed drawing, working word search and fill in puzzle books, and coloring,  He loved reading his collection of Louis L'Amour, Westerns. His favorite music were hymns and Country.  He lived his last few years at Independence Health and Rehab, Independence, Oregon, where he had many good friends and was elected President of the Residents, a job which he enjoyed and felt honored to fulfill. Good friends, Pastor Dennis and his wife, Elaine, came to visit, play games and pray with him, which was a highlight of his week.  We know that Will and his brothers, Steven and Scott are rejoicing at the feet of Jesus with whole more pain and sorrow. For this we are thankful they suffer no more.  Will is survived by: Wife, Lenora Sue (Dobbins) Esther, Hermiston, Oregon Mother, Claralee Mohrman Esther, Independence, Oregon;  Dad, William Ellis Esther, Independence, Oregon; 7 Surviving Siblings:  Aimee Esther Horste, South Carolina; Andrew Esther, Bend, Oregon; Sharon Esther Leppellere, Southern California; Eugene Esther, Salem, Oregon; Lawrence Esther, Utah; Susan Esther Bersuch, Alaska; Sherry Esther, Southern California; 17 Nieces and Nephews.  Will is preceded in death by his bnrothers Steven Patrick Esther, 1966-1998, and Scott Paul Esther, 1963-2011.  Please send gifts to the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation, 4800 SW Macadam, Portland, Oregon 97201, to further study and learn how to combat this genetic disease.  Any donation will help children and adults with Muscular Dystrophy to live longer and grow stronger. a donation.
