Jennifer Marie Davila

May 8, 1983 - April 22, 2018


Jennifer Marie Davila passed away on Sunday, April 22nd, 2018 at the age of 34. She was born on May 8th, 1983 at Fort Riley Kansas to Daniel and Linda Loop. Less than a year later the Loop family moved to Germany where both Dan and Linda were active members of the U.S. military. Sisters Amanda and Stephanie were born while the Loop family was stationed in Germany. Eventually, they made their way back to the United States where they settled in Albany, Oregon.  Jennifer graduated from West Albany High School in 2001.   In late 2004, she met her husband Nicholas Davila. They were married on December 17th, 2005  one year and one day after their first date.  While attending Western Oregon University, Jennifer fell in love with Psychology, eventually graduating with a Bachelor of Science.  She earned her Master’s Degree at Pacific University which led to a career with her true calling, helping troubled children.  While in college, Jennifer welcomed her beautiful daughter Mackenzi into the world on November 25th, 2006. Two years later, on December 4th, 2008 Jennifer gave birth to a handsome baby boy named Landon. She took pride in both of her children and loved them with all of her heart.  She will undoubtedly continue to watch her children from the heavens.  Jennifer is survived by her husband Nicholas, children Mackenzi and Landon, parents Dan and Linda Loop, sisters Amanda and Stephanie and their families, along with more family and friends too numerous name.  She will leave a deep void that will never be filled in the lives of all she touched.   A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday May 7, 2018 from 4 until 6 PM in the Spinning room at Willamette Heritage Center, 1313 Mill St. SE, Salem.  Assisting the family is Virgil T. Golden Funeral Services.
