Virginia (Ginnie) Fay Cannon

May 19, 1933 - March 18, 2018

Virginia (Ginnie) passed away surrounded by her loving family on March 18th, 2018 while in the Salem Health Hospital, Salem, Oregon.

Ginnie was born May 19th, 1933 to Louis and Beulah Hamlin.  She was raised and lived most of her life in Corvallis graduating from Corvallis High School , and spent the last 6 years nearer her children in Salem, OR.

She married Kenneth Nored with whom she had 3 children, all who graduated from Corvallis High School before going on to further educational endeavors.  She had the good fortune of being a stay at home mom which permitted her at a moment's notice to attend sporting events and school activities in support of her kids.

She was preceded in death by her second husband Robert Cannon,  her father Louis Hamlin and her mother Beulah Tangen.

She is survived by her children, Michael Nored, Jeri Nored, and Patti (Nored) Parker.  She leaves behind her grandchildren Stacie, Garrett, Michael, Jake, and a great granddaughter Cambria.

Ginnie enjoyed many things life had to offer to include bowling, sewing, gardening, listening to music and shopping with her kids - particularly finding ways to spend their money (chuckle).

She was an amazing mother, wonderful grandmother, and friend who loved her family and friends dearly and who in turn was loved  without measure.

While she will be sorely missed by all, she will always be with us in our memories, and there are truly many great ones to remember!
