Michael George Smith

May 31, 1952 - February 12, 2018


Loving husband to Truddy Lynn of 23 years. Father of Brian, Kelly, Christopher and Spencer. Grandfather to Jonathan, Alex, Summer, Shaye and Sharlotte. Also survived by sister Joyce Gumm and brothers Charles, Robert and Frank and numerous nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by brothers Dennis and Howard. He will be greatly missed by cherished friends.
Celebration of life will be held from 12 noon to 3 pm on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Riverfront Park in Salem.
Michael we’ll see you dancing in the sky!

Mike was a true friend always will to lend a hand in any way.One time he heard a church that he never even attended needed a roof on their Church and we're trying to raise money he offered to give them is Henry J so they could sell it to pay for the roof of course the church didn't take the car but it was amazing offer by amazing person.If I know Mike is up up in the sky building hot rods and headed for the drag strip. YOU WILL BE GREATLY missed Mike.

Uncle Mike I'll miss our time of dancing to oldies and you twrilling me around Your mothers living room, my Grandma.I know you are dancing in the sky and one day I again will dance with you.Love your Niece Patty Jean.Mike I remember the house warming gift you gave Patty and I ,you taped and textured our garage,and by the selfless act when we were gone on our trip and came home a note that said love Mike.I will miss Bud! Love Your nephew Freddy.
