Judy Elaine Wilson

December 17, 1944 - February 9, 2018

Judy Elaine Wilson, mother, grandmother and resident of Salem, Oregon, passed away on Friday, February 9th, 2018.
Judy was born on December 17, 1944, in Salem, Oregon, to Richard and Susan Hill.  She spent most of her life as a homemaker and looking after her family.
Judy raised 3 children and enjoyed spending time and having fun with them.  They were one of her main sources of happiness.  She also enjoyed cross stitching, going to the beach, collecting spoons, people watching at the mall, and most of all Elvis.  She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had a pure faith which she shared with her family.  She will be remembered for her loving nature, her spunk and her great sense of humor amidst life's difficulties.
Judy loved her family, especially her grandchildren, who could do no wrong in her eyes.  She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her sons Richard Wilson (Jenn) and Robert Wilson (Jenn), daughter Wendy Rand (Paul), and grandchildren Timothy, Annabelle, Grace, Logan, Isaac, Jonas, Willow and Abby.  She was preceded in her death by her parents Richard and Susan Hill, brothers Jerry Hill and Donald Hill, and granddaughter Sophie Wilson.
Her 'Celebration of Life' will be held on Saturday, February 17th, 2018, at 1:00PM at Virgil T. Golden Funeral Service, 605 Commercial Street SE, Salem, Oregon 97301.  Please wear something purple if you can as it was Judy's favorite color.
Special thanks to Sherwood Park for the loving care they shared with Judy and her family.  Thanks also to the nurses and doctors at Salem Hospital for their professionalism and care.
