Eric’s Dear Ones,

I send you comfort in your time of loss. I wanted you to know that Eric has been a dear friend since we met in high school. I’d like to share with you some of the reasons I loved him. He was my confidante when I had boy trouble. A great dancer and lover of music. Enthusiastic, fun, gorgeous, fashionable, caring, affectionate and always cooler than I was. We shared an uncomplicated, reliable, loving, enduring friendship.

The attached photo was taken at our 25 year CV reunion four years ago. We attended it together and had the greatest time! We calmed each others’ nerves and laughed like crazy on the way there and home.

We didnt see each other often, but it was entirely joyful when we did. I am deeply saddened by Eric’s passing, and can only hope he knew he had loving friends who cared for him so much. I already miss his sweetness, laughter and great hugs.

Wishing you solace through your sorrow,
Sharon Rackham King
