T. "Tommie" Lippert Moore

April 19, 1924 - July 8, 2017


Tommie Moore 93, passed away on July 8, 2017 in Keizer.  She was born in Steele, N. Dakota and in 1934 moved with her family to Vancouver, Washington.  Upon graduation from Vancouver High in 1942, she worked as a bookkeeper in Vancouver.  In 1943, she married F. L. Moore who was in the military service and subsequently was employed at the Air Service Command in Dayton, Ohio.  After the war, they resided in Portland, Oregon for a number of years, then spent 36 years in Grants Pass, 14 years in Woodburn and finally Salem.
 
Tommie was an accomplished artist, quilt maker and enjoyed square dancing and playing bridge.  She belonged to the PEO Sisterhood and was a member of the Presbyterian Church.  Her husband of 74 years, preceded her in death on April 25, 2017.  She is survived by two daughters, Gayle Stephens of Albany and Jennifer Fuller of Keizer; brother, Robert Lippert of Vancouver, Washington; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. 
 
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, July 15th at Avamere Court, 5210 River Road N., Building 1 in Keizer.  Private inurnment will be at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland.

I am sorry for Tommie's passing but I feel she is with your Dad. 
Larry and I would be coming but I had a gastrectomy on July 3 and just got out of the hospital yesterday.
