Shirley Sulffridge

February 6, 1946 - May 28, 2017

Shirley Sulffridge a resident of Salem, Oregon passed away peacefully at her home Sunday, May 28, 2017 of natural causes.

Shirley was born February 6, 1942 in Bell Farm, Kentucky to William Albert Kidd and Helen Emma Blevins. She enjoyed spending time with friends, family, and extended family, and  camping, traveling, and much more. One of her favorite hobbies was quilting. Shirley created some amazing pieces that she shared with others. Her jobs were manufacturing window screens in Salem, Oregon and locks at a factory in Roseburg, Oregon.

Shirley dedicated her life to God and sharing His love with others. Shirley spent her life attending services at The Church of God of Prophecy and in her remaining years at Connection Life Church. Shirley was a mom and grandma to many.

She is survived by her daughter Beverly and her husband Richardo Icalia of Salem, Oregon. Her granddaughters Jennifer Icalia of Salem, Oregon, Danielle and her husband Casey Lamb of Aumsville, Oregon.

Her siblings Roger Kidd and family of Indiana, Jewel Massie and family of Indiana, Lawrence Kidd and family of Michigan and Ivory Eaton and family of Tennessee.

Shirley is preceded in death by her husband Charley Sulffridge and siblings Denver Kidd, David Kidd and Sarah Atkenson.

A viewing will be held at Virgil T. Golden Funeral Service at 605 Commercial St., SE, Salem, Oregon on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Connection Life Church at 210 Liberty St., SE, #200, Salem, Oregon on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at noon followed by an Interment Service at City View Cemetery, Salem, Oregon.
