Tina Janice "Jan" Lundeberg

May 17, 1928 - October 22, 2016

Tina Janice Lundeberg was born May 17, 1928 to Edwin and Helen Gault in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and passed away on October 22, 2016 in Salem, Oregon.

She was a graduate of Ursinus College and worked at Temple University where her father was a Professor. Jan met her future husband Ken there while he was studying for his MD degree. They were married June 6, 1953 and had three boys: Robert, Marcus and David (Scott). She was active at St. Mark Lutheran Church where she sang in the choir and taught Sunday school.

Jan volunteered with several charitable groups and was also involved in the local PEO, Marion/Polk County Medical Auxiliary and the Assistance League of Salem. She and Ken loved to golf and were members of Illahe Hills Country Club. She was also an avid tennis player and during her youth was a champion swimmer. Jan was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. All who knew her loved her and she always loved to selflessly do for others.

Jan is survived by her three sons, Bob and wife Barbara from California, Marc and wife Jan from Minnesota and David (Scott) from Salem, Oregon. She had six grandchildren - Christopher, Thomas, John, Benjamin, Kevin and Kim. She is survived by her brothers Edwin and Paul Gault along with extended family and many friends. Jan was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth and they are now together again forever.

Funeral services with reception will be held 10:00am Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at Virgil T. Golden Funeral Service (605 Commercial St. SE, Salem, OR 97301), followed by a 2:00pm committal service at Willamette National Cemetery (11800 SE Mt. Scott Blvd) in Portland.
