ONE OF THE BEST THINGS IN MY LIFE WAS IN MEETING JOYCE AND RUSS, SUCH GOOD PEOPLE. THE BEHNS LEASED OUR HOME AT 19000 STATE ST AFTER WE SOLD IT IN 1995 , THEY BECOME FRIENDS WITH OUR BILLIE AND TONY K  AND BY EXTENTION OUR FRIENDS. LOVE YOU RUSS , BE SAFE , LETS DO LUNCH.   JEANNE AND RALPH KUENZI

My thoughts are with you and your family, Russell. Joyce was a beautiful person, inside and out. I will miss her.

This is one of those life changing events when you just don’t know what to say, or how to say it. There is nothing that can instantly take away the grief and loss of a loved one, much less a spouse who is your best friend. I had the pleasure of meeting Joyce through Russ Behn. She and Russ made such a great couple with their love for each other and how they would love to do things together including building 2 houses together. Joyce was a sweet and kind lady who made it a pleasure to talk to and be around. Her bright spirit truly touched my family’s life.

Our heart and prayers go out to Russ and their families during this time of loss.

I worked with Russ starting about 35 years ago and came to know Joyce through him.  One memory was how important Valentines Day was to each of them and how they made it special for each other.  When my family and I finally got to meet Joyce, I was impressed by her soft spoken gentleness.  I was always awed by her attention to details I would not have thought about.  We know that Russ and all their friends will miss her greatly and think of her often.  We hope to see you soon Russ.
