John Francis Mitchell
September 27, 1964 - February 29, 2016
On February 29, our beloved John Mitchell went home to meet the Lord. he was a great husband, father, son and brother. John had the kindest heart and cared deeply about his family and his friends. He was a spiritual person and loved God and Jesus Christ with all of his heart. John was the type of guy who would give the shirt off his back or would go out of his way to do anything to help someone without a second thought. He was gentle, caring, generous and kind. John had a quirky sense of humor and was quick to laugh, even at his own jokes. He loved computer games and drawing abstract designs. He had a lifelong love of sports, it started at first by playing them and in more recent years watching. He especially loved to watch his nieces and nephews play. He enjoyed bowling and bowled on a league with his wife Julie. He enjoyed going to the coast, most recently spending the night there with my mom for their anniversary , they went walking on the beach, browsing the local shops and sampling local seafood. He especially loved craft beer and good food.
