Jean Maria Heiden

September 28, 1936 - November 9, 2018

Our wonderful, gracious mother, Jean Maria Heiden, passed from this world surrounded by her loving family on Friday, November 9, 2018.

She will always be remembered for the amazing strength, courage, and love she provided to her family and friends.

Jean enriched our lives with her devotion, deep faith, and abundant musical gifts that she shared with all of us throughout her life.
Her husband, children, grandchildren, and friends will miss her greatly.

She is survived by her husband, Dr. Charles R. Heiden; daughters Catherine E. Field, Marlene T. Schultz-DePalo, Geralyn Schultz, Donna M. Marshall; son Paul G. Schultz; eight grandchildren; and sisters Jonny Ann Parker and Karen L. Sparks. She is preceded in death by her sister Dianne Olivier.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to the National Adrenal Diseases Foundation (https://www.nadf.us) or a charity of your choice.

A memorial Mass will be 10:30am Thursday, November 15, 2018 at St. Boniface Catholic Church (375 SE Church St) in Sublimity.

I'm so sorry to hear of my dear Aunt Jean's passing. To my uncle and cousins, I want to express my sincere condolences on your loss. I will not be able to attend the services as I have to work that day.

So sorry I couldn't make it to Jean's memorial Mass this morning. Jean was a very special person --- so gifted. It was an honor to be her friend and co-worker with the music at St. Paul's in Silverton. My condolences to all of her family.

We are so saddened to hear about dear Jean's passing. She was a wonderful friend and neighbor for so many years. We missed her terribly when we had to leave our neighborhood. She was a gracious person and I personally felt that I could always go to her for advice. She also raised a beautiful family - all warm and loving individuals.

Our deepest condolences to all of you. We know that her passing will leave a big hole in your hearts. She as well as Charles have been in our thoughts these many years since having left Oregon. We feel blessed that we had an opportunity to know all of you as well. People like Jean are carried on in the hearts of many, so they never really are gone completely.
