EO1 Ronald Ringnalda (ret)

May 23, 1956 - January 30, 2021

EO1 Ronald  RingnaldaRonald was born in 1956 in Lakewood, CA to Andy and Rose Marie Ringnalda.

His family moved to McMinnville, OR in 1965, to experience country life and raise filberts.

In 1971 they moved again to Salem, OR after purchasing a larger hazelnut (filbert) farm, in the Waldo Hills area. He graduated 1974 from Silverton High School.

Joined the US Navy Seabees 1977 and retired after 20 years of service. He was truly proud of his service and the bonds made with his fellow Bees.

From 1998 to 2015 worked for the City of Seattle. 2015 to 2021 he enjoyed his retirement, riding his motorcycles, RZR and running his Kubota on his land . 

He had so many, many friends or as he would say “ Extended Family “ who he enjoyed sharing his love of Music, the great outdoors and creating new memories.

Survived by his loving wife Latricia of 33 years. They have 5 sons; Charles his wife Liberty, John his wife Heather, Steven, Tyler and Joel. 6 beautiful grandkids; Thomas, Cathryn, Charis, Sawyer, Hazel and Jayden.

And his constant companion his dog Ruby!

Ron you are so missed by all of us. Over the years we have shared so many adventures and fun. I know you and Jesse are now reunited.  I love you my dear friend. Until we are all once again together I will carry you in my heart. Tricia I love you and the boys so much..
