Anita Mae Jackson

February 27, 1935 - December 20, 2020

Anita Mae JacksonAnita Mae Jackson went to be in the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ the morning of December 20, 2020.  She was preceded in death by her husband Henry Jackson in March 2020 and her husband Jimmie L. Suefert in March of 1988.  She is survived by her two children, her granddaughter and great grandson, and a legacy of family and beloved friends.

Born in York, Nebraska, raised in Albany, Oregon, Anita moved to California after her marriage to her first husband Jim.  There she raised her family and enjoyed her nursing career.  She moved back to Oregon in the early 1990’s where she eventually met and married the second love of her life, Henry.

In addition to caring for people as a nurse, Anita loved serving in her church.  She could always be found coordinating social activities, singing in the choir, leading Bible studies, and worshipping her Savior on Sundays.  She loved to study God’s Word and was a woman of great faith in Christ.

A dedicated Christ-follower, devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and friend to many, she will be missed by all who loved her.  But those who share her commitment and love of Christ know that this life on earth is not the end. We will see her again and rejoice with her one day in Heaven!

A celebration of her and Henry’s lives will take place at a later date.
Her children want to thank all of the Management and Caregivers at the Jefferson Lodge Memory Care in Dallas, for the loving care they provided to our mom.
